Hi, I’m Eileen and I am so happy you’re here!

Simply put, helping children and families has always been something that has brought me true joy- that and organizing the heck out of anything!  (I have a stupid amount of labeled LL Bean bags to prove that). Helping families has been a part of my life long before I chose a career in nursing and lactation, so Familymore has been in the works for a looong time!   

I received my BSN from Simmons College in Boston, MA and then began my career working in the community.  I had the most fulfilling experience and privilege of taking care of intellectually-disabled children as a homecare nurse. I learned so much from my patients and their families that I carry with me today.   I furthered my career to learn more in the in-patient setting in pediatrics and then as an in-patient maternity nurse. After having my first child, I fell in love with breastfeeding and knew I wanted to continue my education to help mothers and families in that journey and beyond.  I became an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and have loved every minute.  

Fast forward and I have experienced so much as a mother of three awesome kids.  I take pride in being their mother and getting a chance to experience the joys and challenges of parenthood.  Being a parent is hard- in every sense of the word.  I am here to help you in any way I can so that you can focus on yourself and your family to experience all of the joys of family life.
